Viktor Savinok has been undertaking research for his PhD thesis on Continuity and Changes in Germany´s Foreign Policy towards Russia as a guest researcher at ZOiS since July 2021. For this purpose, he was awarded a DAAD short-term-scholarship for PhD students (until September 2021) and a scholarship of the Berlin House of Representatives (from October 2021). Savinok has been a PhD student in the field of Political Sciences and Public Administration at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin (Poland) since October 2019. He obtained his MA in International Relations and European Studies from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine) in June 2016. From September 2018 until October 2019, he worked as a presenter for German-language broadcasts on Ukrainian Radio (part of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine).
